Description
Upgrades from v2.20.6.x to some v2024.1 series releases (specifically, to v2024.1.0.0, v2024.1.1.0, or v2024.1.2.0) will fail with an error similar to the following:
Caused by: com.yugabyte.yw.common.PlatformServiceException: cdcsdk_enable_cleanup_of_expired_table_entries is not present in the requested db version 2024.1.2.0-b77
This happens because the configuration flag cdcsdk_enable_cleanup_of_expired_table_entries is missing in v2024.1.0.0, v2024.1.1.0, and v2024.1.2.0.
Mitigation
To successfully upgrade from v2.20.6.x to v2024.1 series, upgrade directly to v2024.1.3.0, or later.
